Pricing Transparency
Within the Healthcare industry, patients are dealing with rising prices combined with a lack of transparency as to what those prices are. A recent study done by Patient Rights Advocate.org has shown that prices for the same procedure could vary up to 40.2x, and within the same state, prices could vary by 468.8x! This is only made worse on the patient as the same study found that 75% of the documents where hospitals were listing prices, required interpretation from a contract expert.
This lack of transparency creates a lack of trust between the patient and the hospital, and creates more work on the patient to make sure that they were being charged the correct amount, and not overpaying. However, none of this should have to happen.
At Viper Healthcare, we are committed to complete pricing transparency for all of our patients. We work to provide a full, and readable, list of all prices, for all services we offer. Through this, we hope to build a greater trust with our patients, as well as make sure that our patients are well informed, and able to choose the best, low-cost, option for their health. Through this work, we will remake what expectations patients will set for their healthcare, and work to drive down the cost of healthcare, across the United States.

These set back how efficient the healthcare system should be. It should be fast, efficient, intuitive, and running on software that doesn’t look like it was the first program ever written on the internet, and hardware that is up to date with the latest and fastest processing power.
At Viper Healthcare, we are doing exactly that. We are always working to keep our providers and nurses on the most recent and up to date technology within Healthcare. We are working on developing our own interconnected ecosystem that will dramatically increase the efficiency at which our providers can work. But what about the patients? Through this connected system, we work to make sure that patients have complete access to all of their information in one simple and intuitive space. This will allow patients to find all of their medical records, and billing information, in one convenient place. If a patient wants to look over their last bill for a consultation, or a recent procedure that they had done; the complete itemized bill is right at their fingertips.
